Recipe: Home Made Organic, Dairy and Sugar Free, Ice Lollies

ice lolliesWhen the weather is hot kids love to cool down with an ice lolly. Avoid the ones high in sugar and additives found in supermarkets and instead make your own nutritious version with creamy avocado. Our son and his friends love them!


  • 1 small avocado
  • 1 medium sized banana
  • 1 cup frozen forest fruits
  • 1/2 cup oat, almond, coconut or rice milk
  • For extra nutrition (optional): add a teaspoon of barley grass

Blend all ingredients, fill the ice lolly trays and freeze.
